Day Tour Mt. Kilimanjaro – Marangu to Mandara Hut
Marangu day tour with Kilipeak Adventure involves going up to the first camp Mandara hut (2720m) and coming back via the same route on the same day. There is a drive about 45km from Moshi town, which will take 45-minutes and 2 Hours from Arusha Town. At Marangu gate, we will do park gate formalities before starting our hike after all logistics are done our climb will officially start with three to four hours walking to the Mandara encampment.
Marangu gate is 1879m above sea level and the distance to Mandara hut is 8km (16 km round trip), which will take 3 to 4 hours for each direction. Lunch can be saved at the Camp Mandara or at the picnic site on the way to Mandara, thereafter you will start to descend down to Marangu gate and drive back to Moshi or Arusha for accommodation end of the Day Tour Mt.
