Our safari vehicles with the hatched roof for shade against sunny African wilderness; are the extended body with roomy seats for comfortable sitting and stretching out legs. Every guest is accessible to the window seat. Cars are also fitted with fridges, power charge sockets and VHF radio calls for easy and fast communication with the base office.

Program Description.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will meet the Kilipeak Adventure safari guide at the arrival point with the signboard written with your names on it then drive to Arusha for accommodation, We will gather in the hotel for a per-safari briefing.

Day 1: Local People Visit Datoga And Hadzabe Tribe.

This day we visit lake Eyasi is ideal for cultural tour enthusiasts. The trip offers hadzabe indigenous tribe cultural interactions like hunting and other cultural exchange. Hadzabe is typical hunters and gatherers for honey and insect in the bush. Later evening return to Karatu.
Dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn Lodge: Full board.

Day 2: Lake Natron:

Breakfast and drive to Lake Natron, off the beaten path and away from the crowded places. The route takes you through the cultural home of the Maasai. On the way, you will pass Engaruka, an archaeological site of the Stone-age settlement, as well as the majestic Ondonyo Lengai mountain which is the only active volcanic mountain in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Natron will fascinate you with its colors, varying from pink, lime, green, and red due to the concentration of minerals and possibly the flamingoes! It is an almost surreal and breathtaking landscape that will leave you in awe! Arrive in the late afternoon for a brief check-in, followed by bird watching, flamingo, and sunset walk around the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

Day 3: Full day in Lake Natron:

Full day dedicated to the excursions by the Lake. These can be observing flamingoes and other birds, walking by the lake with a guide, exploring the waterfalls, hike to the hominid footprint, etc. There is plenty to do. In the evening enjoy the sundowner overlooking Lake Natron, the majestic Lengai and Gelai mountains, and watch the sun goes down behind the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park:

After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park through Klein’s Gate, Afternoon we will have a break for lunch at Serengeti national park gate After lunch the rest of the afternoon is spent game viewing in the vast plains that are broken only by stands of acacia trees and the occasional kopje. In December, January and February we will normally meet the migration with large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. There are always plenty of resident animals, such as giraffes, buffalo, and elephants, and many large predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. We return to central Serengeti to our special tented camp for the night.

Day 5: Game drive at Serengeti National Park:

We have another full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions, and if you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of the interesting birdlife, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. We return to our special tented camp for the night.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha:

After breakfast, we depart for Ngorongoro Crater passing through the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before arriving at the rim of the crater…We’ll descend into the crater which is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world, home to nearly 40,000 animals…Here we’ll have a good chance of seeing the big five: lion, leopard, rare Black Rhino, buffalo, and elephants…Along with the big five; we will also see herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle…After a picnic lunch, we’ll continue our game drive then drive back to Arusha.
Dinner and overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge: Half board.
